How does Receipt Snap work?

Simply take a photo of your receipt and our AI-powered OCR technology will automatically extract the vendor name, date, total amount, and individual line items. The receipt is then organized and stored securely in your account.

Is my data secure?

Yes! Your receipts are encrypted and stored securely in the cloud. We use industry-standard security practices and never share your data with third parties. You can delete your data at any time from the app settings.

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes:

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Receipt Snap. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I export my receipts?

Yes! Premium users can export receipts as PDF reports or CSV spreadsheets, perfect for expense reports and tax preparation.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings in the app, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently delete all your receipts and account data. This action cannot be undone.

Troubleshooting

The OCR didn't extract the correct information

OCR accuracy depends on receipt quality. For best results, ensure good lighting, hold the camera steady, and make sure the entire receipt is visible. You can always edit extracted data manually by tapping on any field.

My receipts aren't syncing

Make sure you have an active internet connection. Try pulling down to refresh on the receipt list. If the issue persists, try signing out and signing back in.

I can't restore my purchase

Tap "Restore Purchases" on the upgrade screen. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If issues persist, contact us.
