By downloading, installing, or using Receipt Snap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
Receipt Snap is a mobile application that allows you to:
- Scan and digitize paper receipts using your device's camera
- Extract and organize receipt data using OCR technology
- Store and manage your receipts in the cloud
- Export your receipt data in various formats
- Track and categorize your expenses
Account Registration
To use Receipt Snap, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier
The free tier includes basic features with limitations on the number of receipts you can store.
Premium Subscription
Premium features are available through a monthly subscription. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store.
Billing
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. Contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Upload content that infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Share your account with others
Your Content
You retain ownership of all receipts and data you upload to Receipt Snap. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content and that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
OCR Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, OCR technology is not perfect. You acknowledge that:
- Extracted data may contain errors
- You should verify important information
- We are not liable for decisions made based on OCR results
Disclaimers
Receipt Snap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- All data will be accurately extracted
- The service will meet your specific requirements
Receipt Snap is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult qualified professionals for such matters.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receipt Snap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Receipt Snap at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or email.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
